Dusky grey and natural hues twist together to create this naturally-dyed basket. These baskets are hand woven in three different sizes by a small Kenyan weaving cooperative. Use as flower pots and planters for indoor plants or for organising.

These baskets are made by small co-operative women’s weaving groups in Kenya. These help women support their families since subsistence farming alone often fails to meet the families needs. All products are fair trade. When you buy one of these woven baskets you are actively supporting these weavers’ livelihoods, and supporting The Basket Room in their commitment to empowering women. Each woven basket is supplied with a thank you card from the weaving cooperative.
